I will never understand kipping weighted pull ups.
okinawanwarrior: god. i didn’t even know people did that. Sounds like an injury waiting to happen. Exactly. There’s a guy in one of my classes who kips all the time and he seriously cannot even do one pull-up. I had to pull him aside and explain to him that his lack of strength in that movement is going to lead to injury, especially when there is weight involved.
